A SIMPLE GUIDE

A small pantry for low-effort meals

You do not need a specialty-food cabinet. A few flexible staples make dinner easier to assemble.

Keep two or three bases

White rice, potatoes and either pasta or rice noodles cover many of the recipes here. Pick what you actually like and can tolerate.

Keep easy proteins

Portion and freeze chicken or lean ground turkey. Frozen fish can be useful too. Follow safe cooking temperatures and package storage guidance.

Use vegetables that do more than one job

Carrots, zucchini, butternut squash and green beans appear across multiple meals. Frozen vegetables are fine for quick soups and bowls.

Check the small-print ingredients

Broth, pizza crust, spice mixes and prepared sauces can contain ingredients you meant to avoid. Choose versions that fit your needs and read labels each time you buy.

One important thing

Food tolerance is personal. These ideas are for planning meals, not diagnosing or treating LPR. If symptoms persist or eating is difficult, talk with a clinician.
